E. Vogel Bespoke, Inc. is pleased to announce finalization of an agreement to carry on the longstanding craft of fine custom boot and shoe making established by industry legend E. Vogel Custom Boots and Shoes formerly located on Howard St. in New York City. "After devoting thirty years learning and honing my skills at E. Vogel custom boots and shoes, I am thrilled to be able to carry on this experience and craft to provide the very best for our customers. With our workshop now situated in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, we can continue the rare art of fine boot and shoe making while being surrounded by numerous new and up and coming design influences. This will enable us to keep up the tradition and quality of c lassic fine boot making but also enable us to embrace new ideas and inspirations."
The transition of 135 year old institution and industry legend was not trivial and without delay. This process took much longer than anyone anticipated leaving many orders with an unavoidable delay. While most customers understood the complications (a tribute to the loyalty to the Vogel name) proprietor Jack Lynch is pleased to be able to have the workshop up and running by this Fall, to address these orders in waiting. “First and foremost, I must express my most sincere thanks to all those customers who stood by me during this transition period that was extended and beyond our control. Their patience and understanding further fuel my aspiration to do the best work for our customers and create a superior lasting product. I truly want to make sure all our customers, both old and new, are pleased and appreciate their understanding and patience during what turned out to be substantial delay. We will work diligently to star t and complete those orders and insure they meet our client’s wishes.”
